Exquisite poly chrome hand-carved and gilt “Christ Child” “Santo” from Spain 17th Century in the Benediction gesture. He is dressed in a Robe west tied and gilt. Missing a few fingers. Able to be hung on the wall.
The legend is that if you don’t get your wish, you have the right to come back and break a finger of the Santos. Perhaps this is what has happened. Glass eyes.
