Incredibly elegant “Canape” hand carved Gilt wood Frame with flowers, beautiful undulating back rest, great sinuous armrests and marvelous chantourne and ornated bottom rail which rest on six Cabriole legs ending by the famous “escargot” shape.
Upholstered in original and superb 18th Century Aubusson tapestry depicting a hunting scene surrounded by trees, flowers and foliage. The colors are still vibrant and the texture shows amazing details.
A wonderful piece of furniture for a living room, a large bedroom or entry Hall.
Tapestry and Frame are very old and well used.
