Interesting mahogany veneered Victorian era modified bedside commode, with an arched front and four short turned feet. The upper part has been transformed into a chest with an hinged top. The retractable lower part can be used now as a foot stool. Both surfaces are now covered by a French gilt tooled leather. Can be used next to a bed or anywhere there is a need for a pair of steps.
