Rare and fine Regency period mahogany library chair, also known as cockfighting chair. The seat is shaped so that one can easily seat astride and rest his arms on the ends of the yoke. The seat and arms retain the original leather upholstery with its brass tacks. Beautiful solid mahogany shell decor in the center of the back rest and turned reddish legs in front and saber shaped in back.
