Napoleon III style violin shaped Table Mirror with a silvered bronze Rocaille Decor of scrolled Acanthus leaves, little flowers and bottom left a mythological animal called “Chimere”, which for the Artist designing this mirror, could have meant ” Illusion” or ” a Dream that you can’t touch”.
The glass mirror is backed by a metal sheet to which a bronze feet to hold it almost vertical on an horizontal surface is attached.
