Steuben glass, upstate NY, was founded in 1903 by Frederick Carder, a brilliant English glass designer.
The glass part of the lamp has a color defined by Carder as “green jade over alabaster” due to an acid-etch overlay representing birds in a tree.
Original cast bronze fittings and rewired.
