The engraved Fleur-de-lys and the reservoir style both indicates this fountain was made during King Restauration time (1815-1830) after Napoleonic period. Original handmade copper reservoir with its two bronze taps and lid holders and rolled edge basin. Both pieces are hold by a very classy chantourne wood panel painted in blue-grey with a clear “rechampi” on the edges. Such an inside fountain was a hand wash station for field workers before sitting at dinner table.
