Getting an exact pair of mirrors in excellent condition and quality is extremely rare. These two very elegant one shows all around their frame, an handmade carving (called “a la reparure”) of Flora and Foliage, in mat and brilliant water gilding, with 24 carats gold leaves. Row of hand carved and dore large wooden pearls on the frame next to the glass. The four corners are at right angle, permitting to hang the mirrors either vertically or horizontally. The glass has a more than one inch bevel in front, is silver tained to become a mirror and is backed by a wooden piece.
