Late 18th Century , a refined and elegant Louis XVI Period Console “demi lune” with a cream painted wooden base topped by its original Carrare white marble top. Fluted apron with a row of “oves” and one of “picots separated by two rosette blocks. Raised on two fluted tapered legs adorned with carved acanthus leaves and linked by a stretcher ornate in its center by a “pot a feu”, so typical of Louis XVI.
This console would be a great choice for a living room, a hallway or a bedroom.
