Excellent proportions and condition for this beautiful Louis XVI style oval mirror made during Emperor
Napoleon III period. Frame is wood and Decor made of Musical Instruments, quiver, rake, pompons and leaves on top and bottom, as well as “oves” (succession of fruits or eggs) on the outside ovale cincture when the inside is a row of pearls. The all Decor is in stucco covered by red bole and water gilding of 24 carats gold..
The glass shows a 1 inch wide bevel in front and is Silver coated on its back to become a mirror.
