Very good Empire period mirror in gilded wood and stucco with a neoclassical Decor of admirably refined chased motives of palmate, rosacea, foliated scrolls, cornucopias and scalloped shells on each corner. As all 1st Empire ornaments there is a rigorous symmetry in every detail and always right angles. Original mercury mirror glass.
Thanks to its perfect symmetry this mirror can be hung vertically or horizontally.
