Beautiful and unusual pair of Baccarat crystal vases, made during Charles X Period (1824-1830).They were hand blown from two different glass “pots”, (hence there very small difference in color and size) and decorated by wheel cutting followed by hand polishing. They are on piedouche and Medicis shaped.
Baccarat received its first Royal Commision in 1823. Five years after starting making crystal. The vases are unsigned as Baccarat began marking its production with a registered mark in 1860 and it was with a paper label affixed to the bottom.
