Exceptional pair of Louis XIV (17th Century) hand-carved Rouge Languedoc table bases. Typical of the dining tables of this period but exceptional. The marble is on the lighter side and consists of a combination of colors in Ivory, terracotta, umber, yellow ocre and grey. The carvings are of foliage and acanthus as well as large scrolls at the top and base. Lovely size perfect for a large trestle table. Dining height.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES: Hand-Carved Marble
CONDITION: Good. There is some chipping to the Marble particularly on one of the tops as seen in photo. With Table top would not be visible and can be repaired upon request.
WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
