Rare Chinese Imari Porcelain Pitcher

This delightful porcelain jug has been made specially for Europe. Front register shows 2 birds surrounded by tree in
flowers, bordered on each side by underglazed “rouge de fer” and gold dragons and at the top green and gold
foliages. Handle side, a drawing of a pagoda on a rock ,covered with trees. Base is an underglazed blue decor of lotus petals. Beautiful decor of red, blue, gold and green inside the top of the jug.
