End of 19th Century French Walnut Corner Library
France Ca 1890
Rare piece originating from a considered Family in Fontainebleau city (France). It was built at the beginning of "Belle Époque" and is both extremely attractive aesthetically with its superb acanthus frieze at top surmounted by a dental molding and functionally with three doors at the bottom (having shelves inside), two pull-out flaps and four levels for books, three being adjustable shelves.
The "rounded "corner at its center provides an additional aesthetic advantage, giving the all library an incredible lightness despite the important volume of documents and books it can hold.
