Art Deco Table Lamp Signed Muller Freres Luneville

This very rare and exceptional table lamp has a gilded bronze base and stem holding an hand blown marmorean glass shade shaped as a parabolic cone. The glass is made of two layers and has been fire polished outside and etched inside. It carries the "Muller Fres Luneville " signature. The Muller were three brothers (Freres in French) recruited and trained by the great Galle. They left him, circa 1897 to create their own blown glass Factory in Luneville (Lorraine ) Art Nouveau style before world war 1 and Art Deco after. The lamp is rewired for USA std and takes candelabra bulbs.
