French Louis XVII Period Chest in Flame Mahogany and Marble-Top

Beautiful and authentic early 19th-century commode in "French polished" flame mahogany veneer on oak. Chest Has five drawers in total with four having escutcheons, three fabulous pair of handles and one so-called "secret drawer" at the bottom, opening by pulling from the bottom. Gorgeous gilded bronze mounts as handles, escutcheons, and acanthus leave decor on front side posts. Grey Sainte -Anne marble-top with rounded corners in front. Resting on four feet, the two in front shaped "en Toupie".
Comes with its original locks and a precious and rare key as well as its also original castors.
Excellent. It is in very good condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
