"La Mer" Blown Glass Vase by Patrick Lepage

Striking ovoid handblown vase named "La Mer" (The Sea) by the artist in a yellow-green color with the insertion of blue in the following hot working tools representing the billows and with white for the foam.
Patrick Lepage (1949) is a self-made glass artist. He initially was inspired by two encounters. One was the Rudier (father and son) who were bronze founder for famous sculptors as Rodin, Maillol, etc. The other was J.C. Novaro and a famous French glass artist who transmitted to him the "Magic of Glass".
Patrick is still active in Amboise, a city in the Loire Valley.
